What is up with this show and its long, lingering camera pans over the athletes' entire body (with lots and lots of conspicuous foot shots)?

I know, always wanted to see Hein Vergeer's feet, and when he was shown a dream came true, would love smelling them. The show's creator must have loved male feet a lot, cause there were many male atletes on it.
