HELP! I NEED GAS!!!

Well it seems like our pipeline from Texas was damaged.

We are out of gas here in Western NC. When a service station gets a load, there is a one mile back-up at the station.

I just decided to drive 30 miles over into Tennessee to fill up since I get 30 MPG in my car. It's just rediculous though, and I'm NOT going to fight the maddness when we do get a truckload.

So if you're driving through the mountains any time soon be sure to have a full tank in your car, and drop me a little gas by as you go. :wink:

In the Atlanta, Ga area some stations had gas until late Saturday (Sep 27, 2008) afternoon. EDIT: date added for clarification here.
We're told the "QT" folks were ready and organized their distribution ahead of time. So "Quik Trip" discount stations held out longer than the "name brand" ones. Another that seemed to keep pumping longer than others was Race Trac, another discount dealer. Thanks and my commendations to you managers of the above two outlets for your forsight and smart moves. :wink:
