You will notice that all the celebrity shots taken on pool recliners from the direction of the feet have unnaturally tiny feet. That is because they are taken with telefoto lenses from a great distance and the foreshortening over a short distance of the length of the body causes the prob.

If you were shooting closer to the subject, the natural perspective of the feet dominating the frame (as in Toegasms pix) would seem more natural.

AH! ok, that explains alot of the pics I've seen and as to why they look so odd;'tis just the "gnoming-effect" of the camera.
From what I've seen of Jon's feet, he looks to be about a 10 wide.
