That is not Ty Pennington's feet. It's a really bad fake. I have a DVD back from his days of Trading Spaces from many years ago and in that there is a scene where he puts his bare feet up on the back of a womans chair while she is sewing. The camera man does a close up of his feet and soles and those are NOT his feet in this picture.

Apparently when photographers take pics of celebrities laying down like this from a distance, there is a distortion of depth that occurs in zeroing in on their face. If you look at most pics of celebrities lying down while sunbathing you see this weird effect happening - their feet always look smaller than their bodies. Someone on this board once explained that but I forget the technical jargon. The photo of Nick Lachey in this thread, for example, looks distorted as well - he's got bigger feet than that. The Ty pic you refer to does not at all do his feet justice - his feet are way bigger than that and properly proportioned to his body. But it isn't a photoshop (at least I think it isn't).
