Hard working Jan Chytil is the opposite of our other feature this week. Strong hard, from a laboring family his feet have seen some wear and show it in the frayed skin and calloused balls and heels. His nails are chipped and worn, sprouting out of elongated toes like the peak of an officer’s cap. Casting little flecks of shade from their carotene awnings on the vertical face of his big toe due to their uneven edge show to what extent Jan cares about the upkeep of his feet.
