Do you remember when they told you sex is dirty? And therefore porn is even dirtier, because it just reflects the basics of sex? Do you remember when you discovered the magic of the midnight hour, the joy of masturbation, perhaps as an adolescent, and you decided maybe sex isn't such a bad thing after all? And then, maybe porn isn't so bad either?

Art is supposed to reflect and interpret life. Sex for many of us is a big part of life, so art includes a whole lot of sex. There is good art and there is bad art, just as there is good sex and bad sex. Sex isn't always an event of total ecstasy, and we can rate it on our own personal scale. As Phlebonius, the ancient sage and patron saint of premature ejaculations may have said once: Some days it dribbles; some days it spurts. Ain't it the truth?

Porn, in my opinion, can reach the highest form of art, since it can reflect and interpret life and sex and all that is magical and wonderful in both. In our recent years, porn and the artistry of porn has made a long journey. Not many years ago, the real master of porn was Matt Sterling, and he brought life and color to porn in a way that dazzled a generation. We also had William Higgins, who turned out many interesting works, but reached his artistic heights only after he moved to the Czech Republic. Then Kristen Bjorn came along, and porndom was blessed with a star that has been blazing ever since.

When porn evolves into a consummate art form, as in the work of KB, it takes random sounds and turns them into music. It takes a black and white movie and turns it into technicolor. It fills our senses and our minds with fresh air, perfume, sound, light and color. From his earliest films, such as "Montreal Men," and "Comrades in Arms" to his latest such as "Costa Brava" and "Wild Attraction" we have seen films which not only describe good sex but give us the feeling and the joy and the passion that comes from the beautiful vision of beautiful men doing the manly things they do.

We have many other fine filmmakers on the scene. My own personal favorites include Chi Chi LaRue, Michel Lucas, Lucas Kazan, Derek Kent and other innovative pioneers who have taken our covered wagons into new and exciting territories. In a short time we have come out of the Middle Ages and have entered into a Golden Age of Porn thanks to one great modern phenomenon: the computer.

I love my computer. Unconditionally. Carnally. Matrimonially. I'm beginning to wonder how I could ever have done without it. I say this because of the great luck I've had in downloading full-length films and also scenes from individual flics. Now that I can purchase a film and download it online, I've recently added three full-length films from Kristen Bjorn. One of the films, his latest, "Wild Attraction,"' I reviewed in the Footbuddies Main Board section with the title "Slutbutts and Peckerschmeckers: KB, we love you!" I also downloaded another recent masterpiece, "'Costa Brava,"' and an excellent Lucas Kazan film "'Daniel and his Buddies."' What is so remarkable about these purchases is that the price for a download is from less than one half to one third of the price of a DVD if I sent away for it. And the time to receive it? Not a matter of weeks or even days! I get it in a few hours!

Porn and especailly the films of Kristen Bjorn have brought much real joy and meaning into my life. The computer has helped me through my own sexual revolution in finding out who I am and where I want to go sexually, intellectually, and esthetically. Why, sometimes porn, KB and the computer make me so happy I just grab my castanets and dance a fandango in my living room! Sometimes, if I get really carried away, it's a banana i'll reach for and... But I'd better stop there. This is a family program and there may be virgins watching!
