Those two terms are not mutually exclusive. According to ask.com (http://www.ask.com/wiki/Hispanic_and_Latino_Americans), the term "Hispanic" refers only to people with origins in either Spain or Latin America.

To quote from ask.com:


Reflecting especially the Latin American population, which has origins in all the continents and many ancestries, Hispanic/Latino Americans are very racially diverse, and as a result form an ethnic category, rather than a race.

In other words, Hispanics can be of any "race". Race, itself, is becoming a lesser used word, considering the genetic similarities of even the most widely separated ethnic groups. (See: http://www.racialcompact.com/racesofhumanity.html for an in-depth discussion.)

I have seen some sites that give you a chance to list your "ethnicity" with choices such as "white/latino" or Black/latino"

I'm of Punjabi heritage and born in Canada, so I always have to choose "other" when certain websites ask for my race (usually American sites, and they only give you the choice of white, black or hispanic). But what is the problem? A hot man is a hot man.

I think it was on youtube, some posted a comment that pitbull reminded them of a penis in sunglasses. I thought that was rude at first, but the more I looked at him in the video.........lol
