Bodybuilders

It always seems odd when I see photos of bodybuilders, sometimes posing (not on stage), in their underwear or even naked but wearing their socks. I've seen it enough times to make me wonder why? Are they self conscious of their feet? Why would they want to cover them when the rest of their body is exposed? Has anyone else noticed or is it just me???
