I think that to many people who fight, it's a release for them just as per say playing music is for me. The first competitive competitions since the world existed was a man to man combat. Survival of the fittest.

It is an adrenaline rush for people who fight, and spectators.

A few years back a buddy of mine and I were laying on the "gay" beach when two hot straight boys got in a blood fight started by some heffer chick. ~~I LOVED IT!~~ Most of the gay men hopped up and tip toed away squeemishly which Robert and I thought was hilarious.
We watched until the "boys" fight until they carried it fight into the water and one began to immerse the other. And that done it for me. We got up to break up the fight. ...with the help of a little furious Granny woman who ripped them to shreads with her loud voice. Hehehe!!!

Funny thing is, I'm only interested in barefoot fighting.

I say of course it is sport, since both guys are in there consensually, and so are the spectators.

If anyone was being made to do this against their will it would be a different matter.


p.s. I forgot to add that Rodney makes valid points about this.

Also there ARE rules in this type of fighting too, and a fight is stopped The Moment any of the guys is not able to defend himself.
